Hi Ho Hi Ho off for a walk we go....The walkers were off again on a local favourite to Wibsey Park. It's Get On Line week this week, every week is get on line week in our I.T Learning Zone! We have an open door policy in our I.T. room Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.30am to 12 noon, then 1pm to 3pm. Our computers are available for you to use and 1-2-1 support is available should you need it. From job search, CV's, meter readings, email, booking drs appointments, online shopping etc... Earlier this year NHS Dementia Link Worker Megan held a session at the centre, explaining her role within the community for part of the NHS Dementia team. The first session was around raising awareness of Dementia and how to get support if needed. We had a lot of interest in holding a Memory Friends’ group at the centre. Cooking Group experienced a taste of a Turkish dish of beef Kofta and orzo which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.  Kofta is a spin on the humble meatball. It’s amazing how an everyday meatball can be made more delicious by adding different spices and for this Kofta we used  paprika and oregano.
