We had a special visitor in today, not Santa Claus it was Scruffy Claus! This visitor has four legs and fur and goes by the name of Scruff! Scruff is a Lurcher and about 8 months old he is full of beans and very friendly he loved all the attention. Everyone loved making a fuss of him. Dogs have always proved to be really popular with people at the centre and can cheer up the day.

We were making wild flower Christmas cards today. We used recycled paper that had been shredded for the paper. We soaked paper and tissue and pressing it into the shape of flowers and then pressing in wild flower seeds collected from our allotment. These were then mounted on some card to be given as Christmas cards. These cards have more one purpose, they can be put in the garden after Christmas and wild flowers will grow from them! A fantastic card that will last longer than a season!
