Efo-Riro is a vegetable soup and a native soup of the Yoruba People of Wester Nigeria. Efo is the traditional African Spinach while Riro literally means to Mix. So Efo-Riro translates to ‘Mixed Spinach’ in Yoruba Language.
What is an Efo Riro without ‘Eja gbigbe’ (smoked mackerel fish)? The air fryer was a win-win to get the smoked fish flavour.
