A day out with Yorkshire Man Dan and Chef Ela with a trip to Tong Garden Centre.
Most of us met at the centre and used the buses to get to the garden centre. Dan said "It was like going back in time on a good school trip sitting on the back seats of the bus"
We changed at the new updated Interchange and caught a bus that dropped us close to Tong Garden Centre, we then had a lovely stroll through a fantastic sunny countryside scene. The route had young lambs frolicking and horses snorting. We then got to the garden centre and all split up to do Dan's Tong quiz. So much to see, fish, gnomes, plants and pizza!! Once we had finished the quiz we had a sit down brew and a light bite in the café before heading back for the buses home. A good day was had by all and another adventure. We can’t wait till the next one!!
