Pick and Mix group took on the challenge of Nigel's cryptic Scavenger hunt in/ around the centre and outside in the church grounds. The aim of the game was to solve the problems by giving the the brain a work out, increase their number of steps and get some fresh air.

People worked in groups to answer all the questions, the most challenging was how may arches within the church? Easy you would think, but it's not when within each arched window there are many arches! Never ending, even Nigel didn't have a definitive answer there were that many.
Each group recorded their steps using a pedometer and just taking part in this activity each person generated an extra 2000 steps on top of what they normally do. It just goes to show how easy it is to up your step count, every step counts!

This is what the teams told us -
We mostly enjoyed the team work, fresh air, having a good laugh, getting the mind going. A bonus learning new things about the centre, church and people within the centre. Gaining the extra steps was good for our health and wellbeing and round off by a well deserved cuppa!
Thanks to all for taking part and thanks to Nigel for creating the scavenger hunt.
