We would like to say a massive thank you to Sue, Sue contacted us to see if we could make use of her late Fathers gardening equipment, of course we could! Sue said her dad would be really chuffed to know it will continue to be well used. Thankyou so much Sue we really appreciate the donation.
This week a clear up around the allotment site has given us an abundance of leaves, these have been put on the raised beds as mulch to be dug in in spring to improve structure of the soil, as it was very heavy , the beds are now tucked up for the winter under plastic to raise the soil temperature, which should allow us to plant sooner in the spring.
