Always up for an adventure, the West Enders got together on Thursday and visited The Scarecrow Trail at Peel Park.
The local community had come together and made the Scarecrows that were displayed in the park for everyone to enjoy.
We had a good mile or so walk around the park hunting out the scarecrows, met new people, visited the Ducks in the pond and had some lunch. The weather stayed dry for us which is always a bonus.
S told us that as a child the park was her stomping ground and shared some of her childhood memories and really enjoyed the Scarecrow trail. I walked more today than I normally would but didn't feel like it, did me good.
Stephen told us it was like a nature walk looking at the different colours of the trees and plants, enjoyed the fresh air and the exercise. Felt very relaxed.
D told us was great to breath the fresh air, a nice walk and good company, cleared the mind. Definitely got plenty of extra steps into today feel good for it!
