A trip to Narnia through the wardrobe!

An outing for our Pick and Mix group to what is now an annual trip to the Christmas tree festival at St James Church Thornton.

If you haven’t been yet we can highly recommend, it has a lovely Christmassy feel whilst raising funds for many charities This year’s theme was Narnia and we walked through the wardrobe of coats to enter the magical land of decorated Christmas trees. Rounded off by a Christmas gift shop, the very popular tombola to end with a cuppa and a slice of cake. Yum yum .....

This is what the group had to say about the outing

L – I really like coming to the tree festival it’s so lovely I really enjoy it and it makes me feel happy, the trips out with my friends from the centre are always fun!

C – I look forward to this every year I really enjoy going with my West End Friends, will be back

next year!

D – Never been before, was really good we had a good laugh as always!
