Thanks to funding from Tesco's Bags of Help our lunch club has now got wheels and a two course meal is now being delivered around our community. We have so far delivered over 100 meals. This has also giving us the opportunity to carry out other activities to keep people connected.

See www.tesco.com/bagsofhelp for more details

The first delivery from our green food bank was taken out last week with our meals. This was leeks we included a recipe for leek and potato soup, we have been told that the soup was lovely and other recipes have been used such as baked leeks. Have you any of your own interesting recipes you would like to share with us? We will be continuing this as crops are harvested at the allotment.

Our tree of hope at our community allotment is taking shape with decorations and messages, photos to follow soon.

Following on from Mental Health awareness week the been kind to each other campaign is ongoing with people sharing what they have been doing and passing ideas along.
