Marching into May
Just a quick line to let you know what is coming up at the centre in the next month.
We would like to invite old friends and new to our Annual General Meeting at 4pm on Tuesday 9th May.
This is the meeting where we look at what we have done over the past 12 months and celebrate our achievements. We explain what is happening at the Centre, where our funding has come from and how we have spent the money.
We also ask you elect our Management Committee who are responsible for making sure the centre is run properly and responsibly.
This only takes a short time and then we PARTY !!!
Rosina is making Chicken Biryani, Terence is making some coconut macaroons, and Irene is baking, all other contributions are welcome and we hope you will join us.
This month we will also be having a centre evaluation. As many of you already know we are approaching the end of our current contract. Lots of you joined us for a community consultation and evaluation last year, (remember fish & chip day)
This year we have invited Laura from Your Consortium based in Knaresbrourgh to carry out the final evaluation for our Open Door Community Project. You may see her around the centre and we hope you will support us by taking part in our evaluation and making her welcome.
