A sad Monday morning this week. We came in to our daffodils ripped out and strewn down the path and slates smashed everywhere. We will not be beaten, so we picked them up and put them in vases and the centre has looked lovely and cheerful all week! We do have photo's of the culprits which have been passed to the police.

On a more positive note we have had lots of plants and equipment donated from an allotment in Ilkley this week , including rhubarb, globe artichokes, cardoons and raspberries, with a second instalment coming up in the next few weeks! The volunteers really enjoyed the trip out.
We are still receiving donations from our neighbours, so thanks to Irene for the pots and Flo for the use of her greenhouse and looking after our broccoli and radish seedlings.
Its coming up to planting time now, so volunteers will be needed for our potting on party! details in the next couple of weeks.
Many thanks for the warm welcome for the Anchor project in BD3 who have been working to improve their area for the last 10 years. We are looking forward to a return visit from them and seeing how we can support each other and work together in the future.
It was a fantastic walking club this week with ten of us out enjoying the sunshine and the outdoor gym equipment at Elmsley recreation ground.
Our next Cook for Health and Wealth group will start on 28th of April, there are still 2 places left so if you would like to learn to cook in a fun and friendly group get in touch, lessons are only £1.50 and you get to eat what you make.
