It's all go at the allotment getting ready for the new growing season and preparing to welcome our groups back to the allotment.
We have had a big spring clean this week and have picked up every broken pot, pieces of plastic and discarded hose. We had that much we have filled the centres bin!
The poly tunnel, which survived the strong winds, has been cleaned and manured again ready for the new season of planting. Our wild flower seeds that we planted a while back have started to make an appearance that's always a good sign. Dan J has been sorting out all the pots for our mobile vegetables that we are trialling this year and we are really pleased to say his collection of wild perennials has made it through the winter.
