As you may have seen from our posts over the last few months, Volunteer Kim has let us commandeer the pear tree in her garden to keep spirits up in the local community. First with our tree of hope, full of messages of kindness, positivity and hope, and then with our poppy display. With all decorations and messages being made by the community and collected by West End staff.

So now we are asking for your help again, we are planning for Christmas- so if you are feeling crafty why not make us a few decorations and help make it a display to remember! Some ideas people have had are: making stars out of old packaging and covering in tinfoil or using foil trays, Making pom poms out of old wool or pipe cleaners, spraying pine cones and stringing them into a garland, someone has even knitted us some little snowmen and candy canes. You don't need to use expensive materials, the more things that can be re-used, upcycycled or recycled the better!

What ideas do you have- just remember the decorations will be hung outside so need to be made of suitable materials. If you would like to join in please send your decorations to
