Graham has attended our Lunch Club for many many years, but due to the pandemic has been confined to barracks since March last year, that's 19 months indoors!. Staff and friends at the centre have kept in regular contact on the phone and paid a special visit to see him at Christmas where we were able to talk to Graham from outside.
Today was so special for Graham and us, we were all so pleased to see him looking so well and in good spirits. It didn't take Graham long to settle in challenging others to a game of Old Maid, his favourite card game, it was like he hadn't been away. Graham was very keen to get back to his learning Spanish online and had still remembered a few words.
Graham said how much he had missed everyone and was good to be back and couldn't wait to see some of his old friends.
