FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

What a fantastic FREE day out held at Odsal Stadium, very local to the centre.  We never like to miss out on a chance of some fun and supporting our wider community. 

The West End Crew with Bradford Bulls

There was something for everyone from bouncy castles, face painting and live singers to entertain the crowds and the Bulls players were happy to have photos taken with fans, including our Sharon!!

There were representatives from across the Bradford District such as  NHS, Alcohol Services, Keeping Safe, Living Well, Yorkshire Sport, and the Fire Service to name a few who were happy to give information and advice. It was a good opportunity for West End Staff, volunteers and centre users to talk about our centre and what we do.

Food again was also free and it was very tasty indeed : Hot dogs , Burgers , Curry and Rice , Irish stew , Biryani , Mutton Curry and Ice Cream.

Hugh: I enjoy been out in the fresh air, meeting others, was a good time. Got a lot more exercise today.

D: A great way to bring people together and share what is available in the area.  Everyone had fun.  Thank you to the organisers.

S: I joined in with the live singing and had a bit of a boogie, this on top of all the walking meant for a good nights sleep.

Fun day had by all, full bellies and tired feet from all the extra steps we did walking around the stadium.
