Messages of hope from our community

Fran

Two weeks ago we put a call out to the community to help us decorate our tree of hope. We took out labels for people to fill in, along with our hot lunches and invited people to make colourful and cheery decorations to help brighten up peoples days .

We have had an amazing response. People made pompoms, bunting, garlands and streamers by the bag load and written messages to inspire and reassure others.

We were initially going to hang them at our allotments, but after a kind offer from Kim (one of our volunteers), they are now on a pear tree in her front garden! Its much more visible to many more people in our area.

So if you walk along Southfield Road from the Little Horton end, look out for it. We would love you to add your messages and decorations. Lets all work together to build hope in our community.
