Games in the sun, burger in a bun, Coronation Lunch West End style!!

We had been plotting and planning for a few weeks getting ready for the Coronation Lunch and the day was finally here.

Thankfully the sun was out! Games were out in the garden Boules, skittles, splat the rat (no animals were harmed in this fun game!) giant dominoes, egg and spoon race, golf putting and many more, In doors we had chess, connect 4 and pin the crown on King Charles III.

As it was a Coronation Lunch after our burgers and hot dogs we served up a traditional trifle, cakes and buns.

Asking people what they thought of the day, this is what they said

Lorraine - Thank you for everyone's hard work it has been lovely a really good day food and games all really good. It was nice that I could celebrate with my friends

Mo - Thank you for inviting me into the centre, never been in before the food and company was really good. I know where you are I will be coming back

Terence - I've not played Boules for ages was good to try it again, I've passed on some tips to others. I have enjoyed myself today, thanks to you all.

Asif - It was fun, I dropped my egg so didn't win! I enjoyed meeting some new people and helping a bit with the outside games.

A big thank you to everyone that turned up to support this celebration it was good to see you all, and thank you to all our volunteers your help was really appreciated.
