The Council’s Customer Services team is available by appointment to check your eligibility or help you apply for Council Benefits and access a range of Council services.
The Benefits available from Bradford Council are as follows: Council Tax Reduction can help you pay your council tax bill if you are on a low income or claiming other benefits or Housing Benefit to help you pay your rent.

Second Adult Rebate (or Alternative Maximum Assistance) provides help to pay your Council Tax bill when other people who live with you are on a low income or claim benefit

Discretionary Housing Payments may be made where other benefits do not cover your rent. In some cases we can make payments to cover rent deposits or rent paid in advance, removal costs or to clear rent arreas

Free School Meals for your child if you are paid certain benefits, your child is under the compulsory starting age for school and attending full time or certain benefits are paid directly to your child.

Concessionary Travel for people with certain disabilities to help them park closer to their destination (Blue Badge scheme) or free off peak local bus travel (Disabled Bus Pass).
