Happy steps to reduce stress
Here at the West End Centre we have been out and about with our walking group enjoying the spring sunshine, walking makes us all very happy!
Its been lovely to see everything coming into bud, feeling the spring breeze and enjoying the smells of nature. Its remarkable that something so simple, putting one foot in front of the other can be so good for you. As well as improving health our group like the way it makes you feel, more cheerful and positive and less stressed.
Walking in a group is fun, its free, we have a chat and a giggle, take a different look at the area and get fitter. If you want to join us we meet at the Centre Wednesday afternoons at 2.30, walks last from 1 hour to 90 mins. There was 11 of us this week and the group is growing all the time so please feel free to come and join us. Everyone is welcome.
